Project Description

In my showcase, I described the various projects we completed throughout the school year in Auto Collision and how we improved our skills over time. I focused on the techniques we learned and how our hands-on experience helped us grow in the field.

Goals

  • How to properly paint and finish cars.
  • The importance of refining my painting techniques as the year progressed.
  • How hands-on experience plays a crucial role in skill development.

Culture: This project relates or connects to my family, background, peers, community or my own personal interests in these ways:

I chose to attend Auto Collision because my brother also attended Butler Tech and had a great experience. Working on cars has been a part of my family for as long as I can remember, making this program a natural fit for me.

Metacognition: In reflection, one thing that I would have done differently during my journey with this showcase is:

Looking back, I wish I had documented my work more regularly with photos and videos to better showcase my progress throughout the year.

Social/Emotional: One thing I am most proud of by completing this showcase is:

I am most proud of how our class worked together as a team to complete different sections of the car we repaired. The collaboration and teamwork made the experience even more rewarding.
