  • Python Basics
A video showing the basics of Python for beginners to learn.

Project Description

My project:

  • Demonstrates basic Python so that anyone can understand it.
  • Utilizes Python 3.8, a very new version of Python that was released recently.

Knowing Python is very useful because almost everything that has a computer in it uses Python.

Showcase Video

Content: The top 3 things I learned from this showcase were:

I learned about some more functions that Python has that I didn’t know existed.
I learned about trial and error since I experienced it a lot during this project.
It is a good game to keep yourself occupied for a little while if you are bored.

Culture: This project relates or connects to my family, background, peers, community or my own personal interests in these ways:

It connects to my community since most people have some device with a computer in it, whether it is a desktop, a smart watch, or a phone. Everybody has a computer and that computer more than likely has Python coding in it.

Metacognition: In reflection, one thing that I would have done differently during my journey with this showcase is:

There were many bumps and errors in the way that were mostly common sense errors. I would forget a “(” or a “:” and the program wouldn’t run since there were errors. I would have done it differently by not doing those simple mistakes.

Social/Emotional: One thing I am most proud of by completing this showcase is:

It is always good to look back on your work because it makes you feel accomplished and feel good since it is done and after trial and error, it finally works.
