Students at Edgewood High School in the Principals of Biomedical Sciences class use a crime scene investigation on day one to drive learning and instruction for the entire year. Anna Garcia is the deceased, and students will learn to take all of the information they see and then apply it to techniques forensic pathologist would use to determine the cause of her death.
