Project Description

My project was about:
• How Rollercoasters are built
• How they are designed
• The science behind them
• The forces of a rollercoaster

Content: The top 3 things I learned from this showcase were:

A few things I learned while doing this project was that there are many more steps in creating a rollercoaster than I thought. Things such as the science behind how the hills affect the speed of the cars.

Culture: This project relates or connects to my family, background, peers, community or my own personal interests in these ways:

This project relates to my personal interest  because I work at Kings Island Amusement Park and I love roller coasters of all sizes.

Metacognition: In reflection, one thing that I would have done differently during my journey with this showcase is:

One thing I would have done better next time if is to build the model to scale of an actual rollercoaster rather than just building one that looks similar.

Social/Emotional: One thing I am most proud of by completing this showcase is:

I am most proud of the workmanship of how I built the model and my ability to improve my construction skills.
