We were tasked with creating a magazine showing our personalities through visual aspects and the content in the magazine. My theme or atheistic was being warm in winter so I went for a blue and yellow color pallet along with a nature background and a bird companion. After making the concept my friend and I were able to take photos outside and first thing in the morning so I was able to get a rather warm light and my photographer helped me take a god photo. Putting everything together was a challenge because I had to figure out every thing from type to how a picture was edited.
• I learned how to have fun during slightly frustrating and awkward situations.
• I learned how to edit photos using an even more professional programs along with being able
to use photoshop to a better
• I learned how to format an essay and photos to make a flowing and consecutive interior
This project relates to my interests because one of my favorite things to draw and just look at are birds. Birds are small, loud, but colorful and lively and to me they are a big part of nature. The bird drawn throughout the magazine is a blue jay, I chose this because it followed my pallet and blue jays live here during the winter.
Something I would’ve done differently is how I approached the editing in my photos. In my want to make the photos more colorful and brighter I lost the natural look and it looks almost too edited.
During this project I was able to have fun and hangout with my class mates but they were able to use their skills to help take pictures or give me helpful advice and criticism.
