Project Description

Students were to create a safe that protects an item of their choosing. They should have a way in to the safe that turns the alarm off and deactivates the alarm so the owner can retrieve the item.

Showcase Videos

Content: The top 3 things I learned from this showcase were:

We learned how to protect a duck, use a radio signal, and work as a team.

Culture: This project relates or connects to my family, background, peers, community or my own personal interests in these ways:

Feeling safe is important. We have lots of items or things that have value. This project give us peace of mind knowing that we can keep things safe.

Metacognition: In reflection, one thing that I would have done differently during my journey with this showcase is:

We should have spent more time hiding the wires and decorating the project.

Social/Emotional: One thing I am most proud of by completing this showcase is:

Our code was challenging and took us a while; though it was stressful, we finally got it to work.
