Project Description

Students were to use the Design process to create a safe. Their project should include:
*something worthy of protecting
*an input and an output
*appropriate code using the makecode platform

Content: The top 3 things I learned from this showcase were:

I learned how to code in the Makecode environment.
I learned how to plan using Draw.io
I learned how to build and work with a classmate.

Culture: This project relates or connects to my family, background, peers, community or my own personal interests in these ways:

Learning to be safe applies everywhere. I think it is cool to create something that can actually work when it comes to protecting an item.

Metacognition: In reflection, one thing that I would have done differently during my journey with this showcase is:

Add more LEDs. Make the lights flash when the item is taken.

Social/Emotional: One thing I am most proud of by completing this showcase is:

Finishing! We tried to finish this before spring break and it was clear that we were not able to complete. So we did it over spring break.
