Students painted 50 Stars of Hope that are awarded to Butler Tech teachers.
Star of Hope are a part of a growing “Pay if Forward” service movement that is bringing hope and healing to people around the world everyday.
Stars allowed adaptive students to show their words and expressions through their art.
I can express my feelings through artwork.
It is inspiring to be a part of a larger project.
Anyone can make a difference in our school, community, country and even world.
This project gave Adaptive Career Pathway students a chance to express their feelings through art. Students were able to showcase their abilities on their Stars of HOPE. Their stars will be presented to teachers as part of a pay it forward project. Everyone needs hope.
If I were to do this project again, I would have created a video sharing what each star meant to me and what I was feeling as I painted it.
It is awesome to know that my project is part of a larger movement to pay it forward. We hope that our stars inspire others and create a message of hope.
